CDL Truck Driver Requirements & Qualifications
Elite Trucking is looking for professional CDL truck drivers who take pride in their work and are committed to safety, excellence, and customer service. Review our driver requirements and qualifications to see if you're a good fit for our team.
- Valid Class A CDL
Current Class A Commercial Driver's License in good standing
- Minimum 1 year OTR experience
At least 12 months of over-the-road truck driving experience
- Clean driving record (past 1-2 years)
Safe driving history with no major violations or accidents
- DOT physical and drug screening
Current DOT medical card and ability to pass drug/alcohol screening
- Professional attitude
Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety
- TWIC card
Transportation Worker Identification Credential for port access
- Experience with electronic logs
Familiarity with ELD systems and electronic logging devices
- Tanker or doubles/triples endorsements
Additional CDL endorsements for specialized freight
